Everything is kicking off everywhere I turn, it seems, at least where it concerns school. Elkhorn Quest is no exception! This month we begin our fun activities, and you can enjoy a get-to-know-you workshop where we will play games and make bookmarks, a park play time, Show & Tell workshop, and a zoo trip. You can stay for lunch on the workshop days and bring your own or join Friend’s Café, serving corndogs and quesadillas. Check out all the details below.
Our co-op classes are beginning, as well. Check the “Co-op” tab to see any updates, and please be sure to arrive in time to have your kids settled in their classes by 8:55. See you soon!

This is a favorite tradition in our group. Aside from fulfilling children’s desires, this is a great opportunity to practice public speaking, as well. Kids and parents alike are invited to bring some things to show. I often tell my kids to try to find a favorite book, toy and school related item (such as a report, picture or project). Parents, we lead by example best, so see what you can round up, as well! This time is always free and requires no RSVP. You are welcome to bring a lunch and join us to visit after the workshop from 12:15-1:00. Enter door down ramp on east side.

Friday, September 20, 10:00am-12:00pm
We will be making many zoo trips this school year to find animals and plants to study from certain parts of the world. This time, we will be specifically searching for things related to the middle east on our own self-guided tour. Come join us! This time requires no RSVP, but you may need a zoo pass or a friend to get you in. Our time may be modified to fit the needs of those who wish to go, so let me know if you intend to go and your available timing, and check back for details on where we’ll meet together.
