Please arrive with a few minutes to find your locations and prepare your children. Monies are due today, and envelopes will be hanging at the main divider for each class. Feel free to make change in them, as needed. Mark your name when you have paid, so teachers can figure out who to hunt down. Teachers, take your envelopes when you are ready to go.
You are always welcome to bring a lunch. Friend’s Café will also be serving food, and if you would like to pre-order, email Jessica and Sara at [email protected]. They will also have items available first come, first serve.
Snack Schedule
*If you trade with someone for your snack, please mark it on the schedule which is at the “Snack” station in the kitchen, so the crew is aware.
*We have no severe allergies this year, but we do have some children who cannot have wheat, egg or dairy. If you bring a snack which these children cannot eat, we will have microwave popcorn available for them. Let us know if you have allergies we should be aware of.
*Additional supply items help our group have the disposable items we need. Please bring any you are assigned when you are able and leave them in the containers fitting to them (plates in snack container, tape in office supplies…), and you may certainly donate items if you see a need.

Rules of Conduct
- Supervising: We ask that you stay in the church, supervising your children, at all times. If you are not able to be with your children on a day (such as sickness in your home), but they are fine to be there, they must have another adult or babysitting-age young adult responsible for them who is not teaching. People who are assisting with a class are fine to watch them, as they would be able to step out to handle problems. For each person’s safety, and to allow our classes to be effective, there must always be someone in charge of each child.
- Outside: Children should have parents with (or permission if above 12) to be outside. Don’t allow children to climb on railings or run around outside of church without your supervision.
- “Door Rule”: This is for the kids- If the door is open, leave it open. If the door is closed, leave it closed. The doors are heavy fire doors, and easy to get hurt on. One little one opened one on his foot one time, and lost his toenail. Also, this helps prevent inappropriate behavior and cliques.
- Gaming Devices: Due to the nature of many games and internet content and our wide age range, we ask that children not bring gaming devices to play during our group time. Please use this time to develop relationships, and save games for another time.
- Difficulties: If your child or children are becoming disruptive to a group, please be aware and take them aside. Also, be aware of your children’s behavior if they are playing while you visit. We have many little ones and children with special needs, and we want each one to feel welcomed and respected. If your child is having difficulties getting along, consider staying in the same room as them or having them change activities. And don’t hesitate to let other parents know if you see tension arising, so we can stop it early!
- Personal Items: There are tables outside classroom #1 available to place your extra personal items. Please use this space so cleaning crews can identify lost or misplaced items and accomplish work.
- Children not in a class: The gym is usually available for play, and there are some supplies that may be used for coloring. Rooms not in use are available for students or families to study in the extra times (please note that unsupervised children may not go play in empty classrooms, though).
- Play Areas: The gym and fellowship room in the basement are the main areas where we may visit and play. The side classrooms are for use during classes only.
- Gym: Children are free to play in the gym when it is available. Please be aware of how your children are playing, and watch out for little ones in this area. The toys in the gym must stay there.
- Couches: Toys by the couches are reserved for young children, and must stay in that area.
- Lunch: The kitchen has a microwave and oven available for lunch use. Please keep all food in the lunch room, not in gym or classrooms. If you forgot items such as plates, we have a litchen supply box available for use. Clear lunch items, wash table places and chairs, and move items either to your car or to the “Personal Supplies” tables. Our goal is that the kitchen and eating areas be left clean when the meal time is over (1:00).
- Assistants: Please assist, provide crowd control and help where the teacher needs. Help teachers return class to its original state when the class is finished. You may be asked to substitute, should the teacher be unable to teach. He/she will help provide you with details needed for that.
- Please be respectful of the church’s property. We are so thankful to be able to meet here. Let’s let them know by our behavior!
