Apologetics (ages 12-18)
9:50-10:35
This is a class which is continuing from last semester. To join, visit with the teacher to get an understanding of the class structure and what has been covered. Students have spent first semester researching arguments and illustrations to defend the Christian faith, and learning a game plan for discussing Christian convictions. During this second semester, students will practice role-playing the skill, as well as prepare for a tournament where they create a speech on a given apologetics topic, and display it with an adult partner in the tournament. This class is using the book, “Tactics” (Greg Koukl), to ask questions to help a person analyze their worldview and come to an understanding of a Christian worldview.

Ages: 5-12
Cost: $3, or send me some seeds, potting soil or plant tops which can be grown for certain weeks (carrots, celery, pineapple, beets, radishes)

***It is important for our children today to know why the USA is special and what our rights are. This class’s intent is to teach kids what belongs to them as a US citizen and get them to think about how they can support it. This civics class will be geared for kids ages 12 and up. We will cover some of our founding documents and discuss the structure of our government. We will be using resources from icivics.com and PragerU. We will discuss current events and how it relates to our eroding civil and religious rights.

“Oh Me, Oh My, Oh Nehemiah” Musical (ages 5-18)

We would like to put on a musical! O Me, O My, O Nehemiah is a fun portrayal of what God did for His people when they chose to follow Him. With great songs, and a reminder that God will do great things today, we’re hoping this will be a memorable opportunity for our children! Experience auditions, rehearsals, stage design, and the behind the scenes work of a production. We will need singers and actors, stage crew, and costume designers (hoping for as many volunteers and donations as possible to make this an affordable endeavor). Musical will be held in the spring.
